Daytona 200 - AMA Formula Xtreme - March 11th


Jake Zemke took advantage and went on to win after Miguel Duhamel's crash Miguel ended up a very respectable 5th despite going over his handlebars during a highside on lap 43, which destroyed his windscreen and helmet visor. Josh Hayes finished 2nd Behind Zemke. So Honda finished 1,2, 5th and 6th.

Ernesto Fonseca Crash Update


On Tuesday, March 7th, Team Honda's Ernesto Fonseca crashed at a private Supercross track and suffered damage to his spinal cord when he landed head-first into the face of an upcoming jump. On Thursday, March 9, Team Honda factory motocross racer Ernesto Fonseca underwent surgery to stabilize his spinal column.

Everyone at American Honda and all of Ernie'ss teammates are deeply affected by what happened, and our hearts and best wishes go out to Ernie, his wife Carolina and his family. Ernie has been a part of the Honda family for five years now, and during that time we've gained tremendous respect for his talent, his good nature and his determination. Like all top racers, Ernie knows how to fight and he never gives up, and it is this spirit and will to overcome challenges that will see Ernie through this difficult time.

Miguel aims for #6 at Daytona 200


In the 65th running of the Daytona 200, Miguel Duhamel will try to add a 6th trophy to his collection aboard his CBR. He has won 12 races at Daytona in total, 5 of which being the Daytona 200, tied with Scott Russell, which he hopes he can top with the lucky 13 on March 11th.
